Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are putting years of bad blood behind them and getting their old band Oasis back together. The group announced a run of reunion shows in the U.K. and Ireland in 2025, which will be Oasis’ first live performances in 16 years. The last Oasis gig was their 2009 headlining set at V Festival in England. According to a statement, “These dates will be the band’s exclusive European appearances,” squashing rumors that Oasis will headline the legendary Glastonbury Festival in 2025. In Oasis’ Instagram post announcing the reunion, the caption reads, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.” No North American reunion dates have been announced as of yet. (Consequence of Sound)
